As a refresh of the old Avail Referral Program, a few things have changed with this next iteration. First, the referral process is much more streamlined, allowing for you to easily send a referral link to other landlords through email, messaging, Facebook, or Twitter.
Both you and the landlord you refer will also receive $50 in Avail credit once they have successfully created their first account — a step up from the free Rent Analysis Report referred landlords originally received after adding their first property. An Avail landlord will be able to refer a maximum of 10 landlords for a total of $500 credits.

Here’s how to start referring in three steps:
- Sign in to your landlord account: Once logged in, you’ll be able to invite a friend at the top of your dashboard.
- Share your referral link: Whether you prefer to share your link through text message, enter their email address, or post it on social media, you have multiple options to choose from.
- Confirm your referrals sign up: You’ll need to follow up with referrals that are invited using your referral link. However, you can easily track and manage all email invitations on the “My Referrals” page.
From there, we’ll guide your referrals through the process of setting up their account and show them all the great ways they can utilize their $50 in account credit. It’s that simple.
How to Keep Track of Your Landlord Referrals on Avail
After your first referral has set up their landlord account, you can start managing your referrals on the “My Referrals” page. This dashboard is designed to show the current status of referrals, such as who’s used your referral link, how much credit you’ve received from referrals, and what your current credit balance is.
Everything from the referrals’s email address to the date the invite was sent can be found here for future reference. It’s important to note that the current status of referrals that joined using your personalized link will not be tracked.
You still have the option to refer other landlords to Avail once you’ve reached the referral limit of 10 landlords. While you won’t receive credit for these referrals, your friend will still receive the $50 on their account.
How to View Your Credit Balance from Referrals
Your credit balance updates automatically once a new referral has activated their account or after an upcoming transaction has been processed. The “Credit Balance” dashboard shows an overview of all your credit, the potential amount you can receive, as well as what you can use your credit on.
The credit from your referrals will be used based on your next upcoming Avail charge, so if you currently have an Unlimited Plus account but would like to use the credit on a Rent Price Analysis report, you’ll need to purchase the report before your subscription renewal date.
To access your credit balance from your dashboard:
- Scroll to the top right of your dashboard: This shows a summary of your credit balance based on activated referrals.
- Click the yellow button: You’ll be directed to the “Credit Balance” page that provides you with a credit balance, as well as transactions they’ve been applied to thus far.
- Redeem your account credit: In the “Where to Redeem Credits” section, you will see options on how you can redeem your Avail credit.
